The company was founded by Clement Griscom, who led it from its founding until its merger into the IMM. - Gothland Purchased in 1908 from White Star Line, renamed from Gothic. Transferred in 1911 to White Star Line Australia service, renamed Gothic, 1913 reverted to Red Star Line Gothland, 1925 scrapped.

- Zeeland. Purchased as the SS Java from the Cunard Line Cunard Line is a British-American owned shipping company, which is based in Southampton, England and operated by Carnival UK. It has been a leading operator of passenger ships on the North Atlantic for over a century. In 1839, Canadian-born Samuel Cunard was awarded the first British transatlantic steamship mail contract, and the next year formed in 1878. Sold to France in 1889.
